Step 1: Loosen or remove the strings.
Steps 2 and 3: Make sure your strings are loose enough to flip up the arm and access the nut underneath. If strings are still attached, be careful not to pull too hard or you may break a string.
Step 4: Remove the lock nut (or double nuts on some models) and the shoulder bolt assembly can be pulled out. As you pull the bolt out, watch for any parts that may drop.
Note: Some arms have the bolt welded onto the arm and it cannot be removed. In this case, use the provided hardware to install the Palm-O-Low.

Step 5: Now, simply reverse the process with the
Tighten the strings and tune the guitar as normal, and you are good to go!
